Election of the Advisory Council for Migration and Integration is held in Ludwigshafen on 27 October

The Advisory Council for Migration and Integration (BMI) represents the population with migration history in Ludwigshafen. The members of the BMI represent the interests of the inhabitants with migration history in the city they live in vis-à-vis the political committees. On 27 October 2019, the BMI is newly elected. The election is carried out as a pure postal vote.
Eligible to vote are all people living in Ludwigshafen who are at least 16 years old and who have either a foreign nationality or more than one nationality as well as those people living in Ludwigshafen who are at least 16 years old and who became naturalised in the past.
All these people who are eligible to vote receive the election notifications by mail. They can vote for the BMI and hand over their election documents directly to the electoral office in the town hall or send them to the electoral office until 27 October.
The BMI is made up of 22 elected and 11 members appointed by the City Council.
