The Federal Employment Agency Ludwigshafen and the Jobcenter Vorderpfalz-Ludwigshafen are holding a job exchange at the Pfalzbau Ludwigshafen on Tuesday, 14 June 2016, from 11 am to 5 pm. Asylum seekers and refugees who wish to take up employment are invited. More than 20 companies from various sectors are presenting themselves and are going to inform guests about job opportunities, training and internships. Visitors can also catch up on language courses and educational institutions in the region.
Those who do not feel safe speaking German can get support at the so called “language island”. Interpreters who speak English, Persian, Darsi/Dari or Arabic are going to assist guests during personal conversations.
Visitors can get their CVs checked and can also get advice on how to improve them.
In separate rooms, interested visitors as well as companies can get important information at 12 pm and at 2 pm about the following topics:
• “Working in Germany” (German and English)
• “How do I apply correctly?” (German and English)
• Workshop for companies and volunteers: “Job market access for refugees – support offered by the Federal Employment Agency and the Jobcenter”
Participation is free, registration is not required.
